This intensive session is mainly targeted at those working in research and communications. Participants will learn how to talk to the media effectively and structure their message. The training will also provide practical experience with practice recorded broadcast interviews and individual feedback.
This is a great opportunity for those either looking to improve their media skills or who are just starting to build their profile and deal with the media as part of their role. Whether you work in communications or research, this workshop gives practical advice and guidance on how to structure an interview, tell a story and what to do in a radio or TV interview.
To increase the effectiveness of the training, participants will be asked to send through a piece of research they are planning to share with media ahead of time so that they can really benefit from the practical, interactive elements.
