How to run your own focus groups

Tuesday April 21 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Focus groups are an important part of think tank research but can be prohibitively expensive to run. Ben Cooper from the Fabian Society regularly holds his own focus groups to feed into his research and in this webinar he will be taking us through how he does it.

This session will look at how to conduct a focus group for your own research, from recruitment specification to the conversation itself. We will discuss when it is best to use focus groups for your research. This session will set out useful tips and theories around writing a script, the most appropriate and good questions, and delivering a focus group. We will also look at the ways to analyse focus group transcripts, with the aim to give you confidence to secure the most useful insights from the people participating.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask Ben questions during the webinar.
