Joe Hill, Director of Strategy at Re:State, will be joining us for our June webinar and taking us through how they have completely overhauled their strategy and communications with resounding success over the past couple of years. He will also be sharing how he has built up his own personal brand as someone completely new to the think tank space just two years ago.
We will be discussing how Re:State has gone through a complete rebrand and built up a strong policy team that is having significant impact in a number of policy areas. We may also hear how he coined the concept of ‘Everythingism’ and what it means to be successful as a think tanker!

Speaker bio
Joe Hill is Director of Strategy at Re:State and leads their political engagement and partnerships, strategic projects, and communications. He joined Re:State in January 2024 as the Policy Director leading their ‘Re:Imagining Whitehall’ programme, and research on other areas of state capacity & capability. Before Re:State he was a manager at Faculty, an AI company, where he worked on defence and security projects. Prior to that Joe was a civil servant for seven years, leading teams in both HM Treasury and the Home Office. Joe won Think Tanker of the Year at the 2025 Smart Thinking Awards.
